May impunity not prevail. May those responsible be put aside and punished. May transparency prevail and ethics set the tune for this sad end of the year in a country so full of contrasts.

If man is essentially gift and relationship, if the social question is an opening to the anthropological question and from there to the theological one, then it seems obvious that concern for the social question is not an addition to the reflection of the Church.
